Check LaSalle VINELink Custody

Who was arrested in LaSalle Parish, and where is that person now? VINELink answers the custody half of that question. The free system tracks one person's reported custody after an arrest and can register you for release or transfer alerts. Louisiana VINE covers adult parish jails and state prisons. LaSalle's own roster links directly into the notification network. But it is not an arrest-history archive, court docket, federal locator, or mugshot search. A new booking may take time to appear. Search VINELink LaSalle Parish with exact identifiers, then confirm urgent facts with the jail holding the person.

LaSalle VINELink Inmate Coverage

LA VINE is Louisiana's victim-notification and custody-information service. The Louisiana Commission on Law Enforcement runs it with sheriffs, district attorneys, and the Department of Public Safety and Corrections. Coverage reaches adult inmates in every parish jail and every state prison. The program was formerly called LAVNS, which explains why the LaSalle roster still uses that name and domain.

Local signs back the parish's participation. The official jail roster tells readers to click the LAVNS logo and register for custody changes. The sheriff's app carries the VINE site and LaSalle agency codes too. Integration is clear. Instant uploads are not. A record can lag while a new arrest is booked or while data moves between systems.

So use VINELink for custody status and alerts. Turn to the sheriff for the booking entry. Turn to the court for the case outcome. Federal or immigration custody sits with the appropriate federal system. The VINE service offers no public mugshot search.

Louisiana VINE Search Screen

The official Louisiana person-search screen displays the current controls used for a named custody check.

Louisiana VINELink person search screen for custody records

This is a search interface, not a record. It shows no booking image and no list of arrested people. Note the interface date and the result time. Controls can change, and custody status can change faster, so a saved screen never replaces a fresh check when release or transfer matters.

LaSalle VINELink Result Fields

VINELink is built around custody, location, and change notices. It does not carry the whole criminal case. Exact screens vary, but the core functions and limits hold.

Result elementMeaning and limit
Person or offender identityUsed to distinguish possible matches; verify against known facts.
Custody statusStatus reported to VINE, subject to source updates and lag.
Facility or locationThe reported place of custody, not necessarily the arresting agency.
Agency or offender IDA useful identifier when supplied; it is not a court docket number.
Release or transfer changeAn event that may trigger a registered notice.
Booking photoNo public photo function was verified in the reviewed material.
Court dispositionNot resolved by VINE; obtain it from the clerk or court.

A release notice means the person left the reported custody status. It says nothing about why. Any holds may or may not have ended. A transfer notice signals a move between systems. For exact legal posture, contact the responsible jail and court.

Verify critical changes: VINE is an aid, not a guarantee. Confirm a release, transfer, or fresh booking with the facility before acting on it.

Register LaSalle Custody Alerts

Searching and registering are two separate steps. Louisiana's program describes alerts as optional, anonymous, and free. Delivery can come by telephone, text, email, or in-app notice, with the live interface controlling which choices a particular record allows.

  1. Open the person’s matching custody record and choose the registration option.
  2. Select each available notice method that fits the need.
  3. Enter the requested contact detail carefully and complete confirmation.
  4. Create or retain the PIN used for telephone notifications.
  5. Keep contact information current and respond to notices by checking the live status.

Registration brings a PIN. Telephone calls keep coming until the recipient enters that PIN. Store it safely. An alert reports a custody change, like a release or a transfer. It does not guarantee the arrest just occurred.

The statewide telephone route is 866-528-6748. Anyone unable to use the web screen can ask about the current phone workflow. Urgent details should still go straight to LaSalle Parish Jail.

VINELink Alert Registration

Registration happens at the separate VINELink registration interface. Notification methods and registration details are set there after the correct record is located.

VINELink custody alert registration screen with notification choices

A person search alone does not create alerts. Registration must go through the dedicated flow. Check which events are actually offered before assuming every status change triggers a notice. Keep access to the chosen phone or email. If a message conflicts with an official facility response, ask the facility to clarify.

LaSalle Roster Connects to VINE

LaSalle Parish hosts its jail roster on the LAVNS domain, the same home as VINE registration. That pairing is rare. One door serves both jobs. A visitor can scan who is in custody, then sign up for alerts on any name. No outside search engine sits in between.

The roster offers Show All and alphabet filters, an offender count, and a last-updated stamp. An agreement screen may greet you first. Entries carry name, date of birth, race, gender, and arrest date. The public view shows no booking photo. A restrictive disclaimer calls the page unofficial and limits copying or publication, so link to the roster rather than reproduce its rows.

Roster answers and VINE answers differ, though. The roster reflects parish custody at its last refresh, while VINE follows reported custody and can alert you to a later move or release. Neither tool delivers the final court result.

Note: The LAVNS tie-in signals participation, but no LaSalle source promises a set wait between booking and a searchable VINE record.

LaSalle VINELink Check Limits

A blank VINELink result is not proof. An arrest can sit outside the tool's reach. Check the Daily Arrest Report workflow first; it leans on the official roster, VINE, the jail line, and records contacts instead of an invented 24-hour feed. For urgent cases, call LaSalle Parish Jail at 318-992-7358. Records & Bonds covers the underlying entry at 318-992-6976.

VINELink is not a full historical arrest database. Juvenile and restricted records stay hidden. It cannot replace a booking-summary request or reveal whether prosecutors filed or changed a charge. The court disposition holds the later legal outcome.

Federal inmates appear in the BOP inmate locator. Immigration detention uses ICE’s Online Detainee Locator System. Neither covers a Louisiana parish jail or state prison. Someone moved into Louisiana DPS&C custody can still be traced through the state’s inmate-information route, which points back to VINE.
